We Took a Walk to The Library

Its been getting hot out, and I've been trying to think of more and more "outside activities" we can do. I realized one day just how close we were to the library and decided to take the kids for a walk there. It was such a nice little walk. Lots of big shade trees along the sidewalk. We had a great time. I wish I could have gotten a picture, but when we got to the crosswalk, there were little orange flags you hold as you walk across. Luke grabbed one and proudly began to walk across waving it vigorously at the stopped cars. I was trying not to laugh, it was so cute.

We spent Christmas with the Sheffields (Ken's parents) in Kaysville, Utah. It was great to be with family and to celebrate the special Holiday. Luke got spoiled by his grandparents :) and Penny was just happy to be there. We are so grateful for our wonderful friends and family who helped make our Christams so special! And I am so thankful to Ken for giving me one of the greatest gifts I've ever received. It means so much to me, especially since you got it before I started begging :) I love you!

On Luke's last day of preschool (for the sememster, he will start back up mid-jan.) he got a turn to take home curious George! In his class, each child gets a turn to take home a bag with curious george inside along with a journal to tell what you did with George and draw a picutre! When he got off the bus he was so excited carrying the bag and trying to tell me, "George! George!" So, in these picutres you can see all the fun times we had with curious George. At the end of the day Luke even prayed for George :)

Peanut Butter and Jam.

Luke was so determined yesterday to make a peanut butter and jam sandwich all by himself... so I let him. I did of course supervise. and he did a great job! don't you just love how much peanut butter he has on the one piece of bread and then with just a few scrapes of jam on the other! He was pretty proud of himself and his mommy was pretty proud too :)

I know he's NOT little... but I need to be able to call him my little luke! The other day he wanted me to get the camera out saying, "picture, picture!" When I had it in hand, he started posing and smiling and just being too cute. So I started snapping away. Afterward, we looked at them together :)

He is such a sweet boy. In the morning, he comes and wakes me up (I'm usually on the couch because its a little more comfortable than the bed) and he gives me a big kiss! the other morning he pulled the blanket off me, saw my huge belly and said excitedly, "baby!" pointing at it. Then he gave my belly (the baby) a kiss :) I think he will like being a big brother!

I know I know I look like I'm ready to pop. Almost. I've got 7 weeks left. You know how you're supposed to look like you've got a basketball in your belly when you're pregnant. I look like I've got a rugby ball sticking straight out... Maybe she's in there with her fingers interlaced behind her head in my stomach area, and her ankles crossed legs straight out into my belly button area! I'm joking. I've started to get out some of Luke's little white receiving blankets (the long john kind) and washed them yesterday so they're nice and fresh :)

After receiving he cool bike for his Birthday, Luke wasted no time in learning how to do things his own way! It only took a tiny bit of encouragement (that is all he would allow) from his dad to get him to try out the pedals and start riding! He is quite fast and daring. I've been taking him to the park. He will ride around and I will try to keep up (which is impossible), its how I get my excercise!

....Its a Coyote...

I have been debating whether or not to share this story, but decided to after sending it to Jesse Wayne. He said he laughed. [please note some details have been slightly embelished]
On our way back to Rexburg after visitng the folks in Washington, we stopped off at the Newell's in Bonners Ferry. The first night Payton was headed outside around bedtime. and I just kind of asked him, something like, "Oh, what are you doin?" and he was like, "I never sleep inside..." or something like that, so I was like, "ok cool." Anyway, I had no idea where he was sleeping but i knew it was outside. Then in the middle of the night i was laying there awake in aly's room, and all of the sudden I hear a dog barking. I didn't think much of it, I just thought it was their dog barking for... some reason. Then all of the sudden i heard a coyote howl, and it sounded like it was right outside the window. Ken was awake by now and neither of us had ever heard a coyote that close. While it's howling continued, all the sudden we hear payton who also sounded like he was right outside of our window say in an audible, calm, matter of fact tone, "its a coyote..... its a coyote" I thought this over in my mind for a while afterwards when the varmit was gone and everything was quiet again, and i had no idea why he said that.. especially the way he said it. I finally concluded that he was talking to the dog who i guess just needed to be reassured that it was just "...a coyote.... its a coyote" nothing like "stop barking riley!" or "don't worry he won't get ya" no, just a monotone "its a coyote" it still didn't make much sense to me but i tried my best to piece it together, eager to wake up in the morning and find out the real story. I eventually did, after hearing everyone else's theories. I thought it was funny that Ken only heard, "Coyote.... Coyote" no "its a." At first they were all sure that he was talking in his sleep, then they started to try to warm up to my idea of him calming down the dog, then payton swooped in and the real story was related thus: payton was sleeping out on the trampoline... which i found out was right outside our window. a coyote came by, started barking (so, poor riley was not even a part of the tale), aly yells out the window (from meg's room) "stop it riley" or something like that, and so in response to aly, payton informs her "...its a coyote..... its a ocyote" riely was in the garage the whole time. the wierdest part of this story is that I didn't even hear aly..... at all. and that... will forever remain a mystery. joking. But anyway even as I was laying in bed hearing the coyote, i laughed to myself and thought, what better place than at payton and aly's to hear for the first time up close, a real 'cateeyoh.' (When they were little, they were always worried about the cateeyohs getting them at night, especially when we would sleep outside.)

Luke got some watercolor paints from Scott, Amber and Charlotte for his Birthday. I barely showed him how to do it, dipping it in the water then in the paint and he grabbed the brush and painted away. He is quite the little artist! He spent all afternoon painting.

Can you believe my baby boy turned 3? I can't! Well anyway, he did and it was a fun day! We found a little bike for him that he loves! We didn't put training wheels on because its so small we thought he could learn how to ride fairly easily on it. We played at the park all day. We spent time riding around trying out the new bike.He coasts on it keeping his balance by touching his feet on the ground every so often. He is very determined to teach himself how to ride on his own! He will not let us help him! He is so independent, and he's his own little man. He must be a sheffield or somehting :) Then we spent time getting wet at the spray park, and we even played at the playground. His Uncle James and Aunt Monica and Logan ("Jim" and "eeca" and "woggie" as he calls them) spoiled him and got him a cute little buzz lightyear costume! He loves it. He put it right on and started jumping around saying "ee ee on" (to infinity and beyond). Then we had ice cream and cake. I made the cake in three different bowls that are flat on the bottom. With runny green frosting... it looked rather frankenstein-esque.

Burbidge Family Reunion

Ok first of all, please note I have tons of pictures of our stay in Washington that I would love to share but... alas there are just too many! So I have chosen a few from our reunion. The first day was a birthday celebration for everyone. We played games, we took family pictures (in matching lime green shirts) and we even had a yummy costco birthday cake at the end of the day.

Friday the kids went to "camp happy" basically my parents took them for half of the day while we (adult siblings and spouses) went off and did our own thing. When we got back the kids put on a play for us! Where the wild things are. It was incredibly cute.

Saturday we spent the day at the beach. Eldon and Candy and the boys came too! It was wet and windy just like you would expect for Washington beach wheather, we had a blast!!

It has been a while since my last post and I apologize for that. We have been making fun memories left and right this summer, and one of them was getting to visit my parents. While Luke and I were up there in Washington, Ken was home alone doing finals and finishing up the semester. I know sad, right? Before I left, I made some (good) meals that I left in the freezer for him. I tried to be a good wife but still I wasn't going to see him for 3 weeks! I had decided what I wanted to make him for his birthday, but I forgot the stuff for it at home. So, I called up my trusty cousin Aly who was still in Rexburg at the time and had her sneak into our bedroom, grab a huge sack of jeans, stuff them into a little box, and mail it to me in Washington! The day I received it, I got to work right away, cutting out squares and I sort of left a mess in the front room after working on it all night. The next morning I got the best surprise ever! Ken had driven all night to see us! My mom spotted him and frantically ran around trying to get denim squares and scraps out of sight. I only had a few days before his birthday but with help from my mom we were able to work on the quilt and keep it a surprise. He seemed to like it! For his birthday we went out to El Ranchon in good old Elma. I still think the sombrero was the best part. Then at home we had blackbottom cake and ice cream. Oh and I guess I should add that Ken turned 27.

I was thinking the other day, about how and when Ken and I met and I realized that its been 4 years now. I love how we met ('through music' :)) and just how well things clicked and felt right! Its been a great adventure and we are learning from each other still! I am grateful for Ken, he is a wonderful man who sacrifices so much for our family, he is so giving of himself. and he is such a wonderful daddy!! Looking back I am so grateful that we met! It will be fun to return to Rexburg and the memories we made there :)

Jesse had our name for Christmas and look what he made with his bare hands!! It is awesome! He said that the dark wood is WALNUT, the light wood is MAPLE, the sides are ALDER, and inside the nifty drawer is HOLLY! We love it so much and Ken has been wasting me at checkers (one of the few games where I don't waste him so I guess its ok), it is the coolest gift ever!!!!!

I go a little bit CRAZY if I can't change things slightly ever month or so, like rearranging furniture... which we cannot do because of the way our living room is, where the cable for the TV is blah blah blah it just won't work except for the way we have it, so its stayed the same since we've been here!! I keep fairly sane by rearranging our bedroom every once in a while, which we can't do anymore either because the shelves in our storage area are.... out of commission (every time we would go in there, they would creak and start falling on us with our heavy stuff blah blah blah) so we have that stuff stacked in our room! So I started rearranging the decorations we have on our walls, making some new ones, and puttin up our NEW FAMILY PICTURES! I put things up in desperation so some things may be crooked... what do you think? oh and in the thin black frames by the front door are LUKE'S ART WORK!

Luke has been so into drawing lately, and all I have for him are colored pencils but he does pretty well with them! He will sit there with his face close to the paper and carefully make tiny little scribbles all over (he is just like his daddy, he focuses on little details)! He always wants me to draw with him, which is so fun except he decides what color I use and for how long and if I ever try to switch colors on my own he takes the new color that I chose for myself and gives me back the color I had to begin with!

We went up to the Sheffield family cabin at Bear Lake for Thanksgiving. We ate yummy food. In this picture you will see Ken, myself, and my dear Stephen. He is Ken's younger brother and he is such a great kid, he makes us all laugh.

Ken had to work (which he dressed up for...I don't know if I can post that picture quite yet...) , so Luke and I joined in the Halloween fun with the Sheffield fam. For dinner we had pizza and eyeballs (deviled eggs with sliced olives on top), fingers (breadsticks with a slivered almond at the end), blood (marinara sauce), and apple juice with gummy worms in it. Then we had a doughnut race... Stephen won :) We had a mummy race to see which team could wrap their mummy first, we won! Even though ours was the messiest looking one. We also did bobbing for apples and then trick or treating which Luke loved! He kept seeing all the other kids walking around and wanted to join them so badly. Luckily we found some nursery friends from the ward who didn't mind us walking with them. It was so fun!

Ken gave me such a fun surprise on my birthday! He put his scrubs on and left for work (or so I thought). A few minutes later he came back with Shelese, who babysat Luke while we went out! First he took me to get a nice guitar tuner, guitar strings (which were desperately needed), and some extra picks! Then we went to dinner at the cutest little European cafe type place called the Bistro, it was really fun. Then we went and saw "Where the Wild Things Are" its wierd but I liked it :) Also, he gave me a huge stache of chocolate. Also he made me breakfast burritos in the morning. Took out garbages, and EVEN helped with dishes! He was so thoughtful and loving!

It was so wonderful to have all that rain!! I seriously loved it, I went to take the garbage out while it was pouring and I took as long as I could walking really slowly so I could get a little bit drenched. It was lovely. Well, since the ground got to be moist for a second Luke found a worm! A huge nightcrawler!!!

He loved that thing to death (literally)! He would set it down on the cement, then pick it up excitedly and run over and set it down in the dirt (where I wish it could have stayed). Then he would pick it up again and run over and set it on the bench and then on the cement again where he would watch it squirm for half a second and then do it all over again. Finally, it ended up in three different pieces. I didn't have the heart to get a picture of that...

Next, he found a potato bug which was not as sturdy as the worm and so didn't last as long...

In an attempt to recover from our lack of current footage, here is the update. We cleared off the garden finally... it was somewhat a success, and we had alot of produce and a fun crop of pumpkins for luke to pick

My Birthday

It's come and gone again... and I'm still young. 23 years old doesn't feel any different. Ken cooked up a few surprises for me, some less glamorous than others... We spent the weekend babysitting for Ken's Aunt and Uncle in Ogden, but Ken managed to make breakfast for my birthday and later squeeze in Cake and Icecream with his side of the family that night. I didn't want to spend my birthday celebration babysitting, so we left most of that for the next day. Actually, Luke did give me his present that day when we went to church, in relief society he was amazingly good, I was able to listen to a great lesson! The next day I woke up and got ready to go to work, before I headed out, Ken came out of the bedroom with a wrapped package. I opened a new set of scriptures (which later we had embossed with my name: Lynsie Sheffield), they are a beautiful burgundy color. I went to work on one of my short days and came home at 1:30 to a good husband cleaning the house:) YAY! Then he turned around... (see figure 1) I made him shave it before we left the house...is that mean? For those of you who know Ken, he has enjoyed looking like a back-woodsman lately. So before I left he had a bushy beard.
Also it may be important to note that while we were dating he grew a mustache just to make people laugh... basically it was gross. I even left to go to Washington and I thought for sure he would shave it off before I got back to make me happy. But alas, I suppose its hard for him to part with his beloved hairy face... Back to the birthday story, he shaved and then told me to get ready to go, and bring a jacket. A surprise! As some of you may know Ken isn't good at keeping surprises a secret, but I love surprises (good ones), but this time he did it, he kept where we were going a secret! We met Jesse (that was such a blast to hang out with him!! its been a while, Anthon and Jennie, and the fam along with Jeff and Willy - then went to Gardner Village. It was so fun, it was such a cute little setup.

I fell in love with a yarn shop they had there! Luke had a blast running around seeing the pumpkins and cute dressed up witches.Then we came back to the house and did presents(Thanks again everyone!)and had icecream cake. Yum! So that is the story of me turning 23.

Preschool Kids Say the Darnedest Things...

Let me just tell you a few Preschool experiences I have had lately before I forget them. Yesterday I was in the middle of my greeting circle, singing a fun little song where we say, "Jacob's wearing a green shirt a green shirt a green shirt Jacobs wearing a green shirt to preschool today." Well some of the kids like to say spider man or butterfly, or army man...so we have fun being silly and trying to fit in the a whole mouthful like Quinn is wearing an army man shirt, an army man shirt....etc... I wish I could sing it for you then you would really understand how funny it is. Anyway it was a mouthful. I did that with all the kids and then started to go into the next thing when a cute little girl says, "wait, we need to sing about your shirt Ms. Lynsie!!" "Oh OK, well you tell me, what kind of shirt am I wearing today?" then I had kids saying "blue" "flower" "polka-dot" all at the same time (it was a shirt with a few diff designs on it), So, then I said, "Do you think we can be really silly and sing all of that... Ms. Lynsie is wearing a blue flower dot shirt?" I was getting ready to start the song, many of the kids looked excited about it like it would be fun, when suddenly one of the girls rolls her eyes, slumps her shoulders and looks at me like ...you idiot... then she says loudly in a way that was like Duh, Hello!, "NO, Ms. Lynsie you can't sing!" Oh my goodness I just completely lost it, I was laughing so hard I haven't laughed that hard in a while! I'm pretty sure the kids thought I was nuts it was right in the middle of circle time and I tried to stop because the girl that said it looked a little embarrassed I knew she meant that it would be hard to sing all of that at one time, so FINALLY I regained composure... somewhat, explained to that girl that I knew what she meant and went on with the silly song. It was hilarious because later at that same circle time someone else said something funny too and I don't remember what it was, but I started laughing again... not quite as hard though. I am usually pretty good about not laughing at innappropriate times and totally ignoring (pretending to anyway) when kids fart or something, which can be pretty funny sometimes, but this was bad I laughed so hard I was almost crying! I have another story not quite as funny but its a lot like what kids say every day. I was playing outside with the kids and on our playground instead of gravel or wood chips we have shredded up tires, which is cool because it feels really bouncy when you walk on it. The kids like to play with it, I have one kid that calls it the beef jerky playground. Well, I was being chased by a dragon (for pretend), all the other kids (I only have 5 kids in that class) and I were running away from the kid who was pretending to be a dragon and he was roaring and making fire breathing noises and some of the kids that were getting chased were screaming when all of the sudden a quite little girl walked out from under the playground in front of us so that I almost tripped over her, yelled "OK, its time for dinner!!" It was funny the way she did that, out of no where. Anyway so I went over to the pretend restaurant with her and asked what we were going to have, "...Ummm, pepsi rice! Pepsi rice chicken." Another time during centers I looked over into the dramatic play area and this little boy was just kind of in his own world. He was wearing a hard hat, with a phone up to his ear singing the darth vador theme from star wars! It was great:)

Welcome to Ms. Lynsie's Preschool Class!

Well, preschool has been going great! I just sent the first newsletter home to the parents yesterday I can't believe I've been teaching for a whole month. We started out talking about friends and getting to know each others' names, and lately we have been talking about trees! First we learned about the parts of a tree and we have been reviewing it each time and they know it! They have been learning what I have taught them, it is very exciting! We just got done talking about shade, I put some butcher paper on the floor with a big flashlight shining down on it and we traced our shadows we also talked about bark and how it protects the tree so one day I walked in with a coat on and talked about how coats protect us from the cold, I asked the kids, "can a tree put on a coat? No, that's silly, a tree has bark to protect it!" - the next day I walked in with a helmet and shin guards - then I showed them a log and pounded with a hammer on the indside of the tree (it made a mark) then I pounded on the bark (it didn't make a mark). Basically I am having way too much fun. I have a picture of my favorite part of the classroom - where I display the kids' art! I asked parents to donate old picture frames and then I hung it over the pictures. Its pretty neat this whole wall is cork like a bulletin board and the opposite wall is megnetic. I wish I had more pictures to show!!!

I am sorry everyone for not updating sooner, and I don't have any new pictures to show because our computer has zero space to download anything. Many of you know that life has been crazy for us lately! I have been teaching preschool, and although my first choice is be a mom, since I have to work this is definitly what I want to be doing! I love it! I am having such a great time. I am just glad that I am doing something that I actually feel confident doing (that's huge for me). I got my Professional Preschool Education degree at BYU-I last fall and its just straight training specifically for teaching preschool. Also, the program I am in now is very similar to what I studied at school. Its neat having my own classroom...I'm getting used to being the one "in charge." My assistant is probably in her early forties, I feel kind of funny telling her what to do, no I'm not bossy. Anyway, she is a great help to me because she has been in the program before and she is nice her name is Helga and she is from Germany. It is great getting to know the kids. This week we have talked about trees! Its been great:) We'll probably focus on that for a while and go into fruit growing on trees, apples and then leaves changing - and some time I want to do pumpkins because we have tons in our garden this year!

The Return of the Luke...

The other day, I filled up the tub a little so that I could shave my legs. Well Luke saw it and got so excite, thinking it was meant for his bath. The next thing I know he dives in, lands on his head, sits up, whines for a half a second, then start giggling and splashing!!

The other day we went over to meet the lady who will be watching Luke, and she had a 15 month old boy who was almost a whole head shorter than Luke! He is so big for his age he is just growing up too fast for his Mommy!!!

We finally got the internet! Unfortunately there's no more room on our computer, so we can't download any more pics but if I could, I would show tons of pictures of Luke so you could see how big he is now and that he is walking everywhere!! Also I would show pictures of our garden. We've been having tons of zuchinni, which reminds me of our gardens growing up, we always had zuchinni. Fried with onions, yum! Well, here is THE LATEST: I'm going to work in the fall, and ken is going to school. Pretty exciting.... Pray for us.

So the great encompassing lesson we have had lately, is that familys are great, but it would be wise to recieve each memeber into your family one at a time. We have been house sitting/baby sitting for my(ken) aunt and uncle(Mark and Lisa) over the last week. They have five children of their own, ranging from 14-2 years old. They are amazing kids, don't get me wrong, it's not about them. A week ago I thought my schedule was busy enough, but adding in all the extra swim lessons, soccer, piano, school activities, ward and scout stuff... reading to them all before bed... well you get the picture, and I'm sure that some of you know all too well what I am talking about, but it has been intense. Going from 1 to 6 kids over night is an adventure. In my quiet moments this last week, I have been in awe over the role that parents in large families take... esp. mothers. Lynsie has truely risen to the occasion and known exactly how to react, and teach each of these children. I know, in great part that has to do with her own mother, and the way she cultivated her children. I too, obviously am thinking of all mothers at this time of year, and appreciate my own mother. I pray that I honor her with my existence in my own day to day living, and struggles.
Our one little guy, Luke is such a fun addition to our home. I am so proud to be his daddy, and to have someone by my side who is an amazing woman, and mother. I just learned that a good buddy of mine earlier this week, came home from his daily rutine, work etc. to find his wife had died there at home. What a shake of the pickle jar. They were blessed with two children together, and I can not imagine what termoil he is feeling without her. When I heard all of this, I quickly went to Lynsie and told her how much I love her. I hope we are all taking our time together seriously. Lynsie and I feel blessed to share an eternal bond, but others like this friend of mine only feel complete loss. Life of late makes me want to do more with the little that I have... bring to full magnification in my heart what my family means to me.

Five things on my to do list:
1. Run, ken and I made a goal that if we run every day except sundays, we get to reward ourselves with.....dun-dun-dun-dah..."Dan in Real Life" my favorite movie. And its not only my favorite just because I am obsessed with the office.
2. Find a job I can do at home (so I can be home with baby Luke)
3. Remember to water the seeds I planted in our flowerbed, and work on planting our first garden...it may just end up being spinach (someone gave us some seeds free) but it will still be really fun (I'm not really an experienced gardener...or flower planter)
4. Maybe finish one of the four or five books I am reading
5. I don't know there's a lot of stuff every day: dishes, laundry, dinner

Five things people don't know about me:
1. I love art
2. I love music (I sing and play the guitar)
3. I have an associates degree in professional preschool education (I bet you didn't know there was any such thing!)
4. I am a Jacob fan (from the twighlight books)
5. I have a serious addiction to chocolate :/

1. Small little yapper dogs...sorry :/
2. Scary movies, sad movies, basically any movie that doesn't leave me feeling relatively happy!
3. The fact that Luke's teeth are all coming in at once, poor baby!
4. Cocroaches! When I stayed with Nicole in Florida I had my first encounter with them and they were huge!! One time there was one in the shower before I got in. Nicole smashed it with a spatula! She is so brave!!! Now whenver I even think about them I get chills.
5. I can't think of a good one, so.... Soft Apples

Luke at the Duck Pond

Luke and I have been going on walks now that the weather is nice, and the other day I took him to duck pond here in kaysville. I was way excited, but Luke not so much. I tried to point at the ducks and thought he'd like the quacking noises they made, but instead of even glancing at them he found a little waterfall going into the pond that he stared intently at. It was pretty funny.

Well, we are getting a little lazy with this whole blogging thing... greatly in part, because we havn't had internet since we've moved to Utah. So it looks like we will be making trips to the city library, and stealing onto other peoples computers here and there until the big day comes that we break down and pay for internet service. Yes we have moved, but things changed a bit... and we are actually in a house of our own, rather than renting a basement. We feel like we've been put under the looking glass as far as struggles, and testing of our will, but our Heavenly Father has truly been blessing us in so many ways and a lot of growth has come from this move, and time in our life.
Lynsie has been enjoying time with Luke(six months old now), but is finding him more and more of a handful each day. As he starts to scoot/roll his way arround everywhere, and take bites out of everything(with his four lower teeth newly come in). I(ken) have been plenty busy with night school, working several jobs, and just trying to make our future dreams a reality. I feel like a bit of a recluse. If anyone, friends or family are wondering "why the distance?" I wouldn't know were to begin... to try and explain our life's little situation. We love life and it's adventures, we hope we can be better at keeping you all involved with our's.

The Near Future

Bringing people up to speed, and introducing ourselves... we are now using blog spot for our official family webpage, after "immature" attempts made on other web sources ie. (myspace, facebook).

Life has really been great for us over the last year or so. Lynsie and I were married on August 26, 2006 in the Manti Temple, in Manti Utah. We have moved arround and had different job/schooling opportunities spanning several states. After moving back to Rexburg, Idaho and attending BYU-Idaho for another semester we were happy to invite Luke into our lives. Luke was born August 28, 2007 at the madison memorial hospital in Rexburg, a perfect 7lbs 3oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. He is amazing and a constant joy/charactor builder for Lynsie and I.

We are attempting to make more new strides in the near future. Lynsie is finnishing up with her Associates Degree in Professional Pre-school Education. We are excited to see final projects and exams creeping up, and Luke and I are so proud of the sacrifices she has made to get to this point.
After what seems like forever, we are leaving the snow, and wind of Rexburg, and attempting to make a move back to some of my old stomping ground in Utah. I have decided that I am going to study Nursing, with great hopes of becoming a nurse anesthetist. I've already given my current job at the nursing home my notice, and we will be moving into a little basement appartment in "God's Country," good Ol' Kaysville. With great anticipation we're starting to break out a few packing boxes to make the move on Dec. 15. We look forward to getting back and being closer to some of our old friends and family, while holding good friends and memories firm in our hearts from our time in Rexburg, attending BYU-Idaho.
